The Russian beauty tossed on an emerald green Luca Luca frock as she tended to a press conference and photocall at the Le Blanc Spa Resort.

Hoping to bring a little extra attention to the Cancun Moda Nextel runway festivities, Miss Shayk - who was paying her first visit to the country - told local press that she was delighted with the warmth of Mexicans.

"Mexico is wonderful," she told, adding that the North American locale has it all including "vacation, fun and work."

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy To Drop Early After Leak

Following the recent leak of photos from Lindsay Lohan's highly anticipated Playboy spread, Hugh Hefner and the powers that be at the magazine have decided to move up the issue's release date.

"Because of the interest & the Internet leak, we're releasing the Lindsay Lohan issue early," Hefner tweeted Friday (December 9).

Although he didn't specify a release date, he did tweet a few positive comments about Lohan's spread. "The Lindsay Lohan issue of Playboy is going to be a true Collector's Edition," he wrote, adding that online demand is clearly high: "Lindsay Lohan was the top search name on the Internet yesterday. Her issue goes on sale late next week. Hot. Hot. Hot." The photo leak has been traced to an anonymous hacker who told Fox News he is responsible for uploading the files to Russia-based file-sharing site.

A rep for Playboy addressed the latest leak to MTV News in a statement: "Someone took photos of Lindsay's pictorial in an advanced copy of the January/February issue. They posted the photos online without permission. We are not releasing any official images or information until December 15."

Lohan is rumored to have received $1 million for the photos and the interview. She's scheduled to appear on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show next week to discuss her decision to pose for Playboy and had also planned to debut the now-leaked cover and another photo.

Miley Cyrus walked the red carpet of the American Giving Awards in hopes to raise awareness to other who change the community and the award. The first annual event is hosted by NBC and airs on Saturday night, only a day after the stars gathered in Los Angeles to tape the show. Sharing the best of the community, it was a chance to intertwine entertainment and good deeds to remind the audience to help during the holiday time of the year.

The taping, only a night prior, had Miley Cyrus impressing the crowds as she walked the red carpet. One of the primary stars of the award show, she showed up in an off cream gown that showed off all her curves.

With a deep plunging neckline laced with jewels, the entertainer was showing off skin as well as beauty in what could be considered a classic Hollywood look. Keeping the focus on her gown, Cyrus kept her hair back and had large dangling earrings to frame her face gorgeously.

The first event that has a celebrity tribute to community heroes, there was $1 million in Chase grants up for grabs so a handful of charities may continue their work in helping others. Jessica Simpson's Weight Watchers deal

The singer-and-actress is currently expecting her first child with fiance Eric Johnson but before she fell pregnant, she had been in talks with the dieting firm to become its new face after gaining a few pounds.

But Jessica, 31, will now highlight her weight loss by following Weight Watchers' healthy eating plan when she gives birth early next year.

A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She had been set to sign with them, but then she got pregnant. So this was the perfect compromise."

Under the contract, Jessica would reportedly have one year to use the point-counting system to "lose a significant amount of weight".Jessica - who had a star-studded baby shower at her Hollywood home over the weekend - recently revealed she was "bigger than ever" but was loving showing off her new figure.

She said: "I like wearing things more fitted. You want to show off your bump! It's just so fun. You don't want to wear muumuus so you can moo around town."

Jessica Simpson’s first pregnancy has been a breeze — so far.

“I feel great, I honestly do,” the 31-year-old star told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush on Tuesday.

“Pregnancy is a friend of mine, so everything has been running smoothly,” Jessica, who was promoting her new Beauty Mint skincare line, continued. “So far, so good – no morning sickness. I feel great. I’m tired, but you know, I’m making a baby here!”

The mom-to-be did reveal a few changes that have happened to her body, saying she’s had “swelling in the belly and boob area.”

Jessica – who announced her pregnancy last month after much speculation – revealed that she decided to take the test without first telling fiance Eric Johnson.“I did the pregnancy test. I was feeling a little off,” she recalled. “[I first told] Eric, of course. He was in the house. He didn’t know that I was taking a pregnancy test, so I kind of shocked him. I came in shaking like, ‘Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! This is happening!’ We both cried. We were in shock and kind of just sat there and stared at each other.”

Jessica and the former NFL player, 32, will welcome their new addition to the family in 2012.

“I am having a spring baby,” she told Billy.

The happy couple announced their engagement in November 2010. Previously, they said they hope to wed by Christmas 2011, but Jessica told Billy they now plan to push their nuptials back.

“We were going to throw something together, but I’d rather put more time in it and be able to really enjoy the day,” she continued. “When you’re pregnant, your hormones go crazy. I don’t want to be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla! So, I’ll wait until after.”

The singer/fashion mogul and upcoming star of NBC’s “Fashion Star,” said her days of being in front of a camera 24 hours a day appear to be behind her.

It was just last week when she decided that she would rather be 2 foot, 38 inches tall. Thankfully, her feet are on the ground, as Emily Osment had seemed to be having some fun we she posted this tweet with accompanying photograph:

Eaton Falls would be Eaton Canyon Falls in Pasadena, California. There is something to be said about spending time in nature on an autumn day. One thing is for certain, it does not matter how tall (or in Emily's case, short) one is, your feet still always touch the ground!

Former Hannah Montana co-star, Emily Osment wants to be a little taller. Not that 5 ft 2 is completely height deprived, Emily seems to have a fixation...and a fix for her height 'issue.'

Perhaps it all starts with playing second fiddle to Miley Cyrus when they were both Disney stars, but that is doubtful. Emily has a huge Twitter fan base of almost 1.4 million fans, so she clearly is popular. Speaking of Twitter, maybe it has to do with her Twitter bio where she gives the "definition" of her last name:

Os-MENT: A haphazardly small blonde person.

That's all well and good; Emily Osment is blonde and "small." However, it was this tweet on Thursday that makes one think that maybe she has this height issue all figured out. She will just make herself feel taller, by reporting her height in inches...a whole lot of inches:Gonna start giving my height as 2 foot 38 inches. ALL SWAG.

This is like saying that something on the dollar menu costs 100 pennies instead of just a $1 bill, right? Still, it is an interesting way of looking at one's height and if that helps make her feel just a bit taller, then go for it! The question is why didn't Emily Osment go for the whole 62 inches?

For the record, Emily Osment is perfectly fine at 5'2" or 2'38" no matter what she says.

Is Miley Cyrus' Career Over?

Miley's career is totally done and dusted. Her moment is gone. She has been replaced by an army of teen girls who are trying to copy her career, including her own friends Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.

Her music career? What happened to that? Does she even talk about trying to record new music these days? Funnily enough those of us who saw Miley's Australian tour were amongst some of the last people to see her perform in public.

Her last album and single were released back in 2010, meaning that it has been well over a year since we saw anything new. That is a long time in a world where Rihanna releases a new album every year. Miley's last single 'Who Owns My Heart' flopped, and she never bothered to follow it up with anything else.

And movies? Well she's filmed LOL and So Undercover in the past year, although neither one is due out until 2012. Will they even get released? And there is nothing on the horizon for Miss Miley Cyrus. No TV, no films.

At least she has Twitter to keep her entertained. And boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who is quickly turning into a bigger star than her.

Music? It's not as if Miley hasn't been working all year. She toured South America and Australia in the middle of the year, clocking up over 20 shows. She's been recording songs since she was a kid, and doesn't need to be chained to a recording studio.

She also voiced a character in Hotel Transylvania. With all three films due out in 2012, expect to see Miley on the promo trail and all over TV, radio and magazines for most of the year.

Exactly Who Is Calling Miley Cyrus Fat?

Pop star Miley Cyrus made national headlines this week for a Tweet in which she and her friend Demi Lovato denied she was fat. If this doesn't seem newsworthy, just hold on.

As one ABC News article stated, “Pop superstar Miley Cyrus has shown off her body in music videos and racy photos, but lately, the 18-year-old singer and actress has been on a weight rollercoaster. Her fuller figure has some critics saying she's lost control of her body.”

A piece on Fox News added,

Miley Cyrus took to Twitter to defend her curvy shape after online critics criticized her for piling on the pounds.... Cyrus tweeted in response, posting a graphic picture of an emaciated woman suffering from an eating disorder to her 3.5 million Twitter followers. "I LOVE being shaped like a WOMAN & trust me ladies your man won't mind either," Cyrus added. Fellow Disney star Demi Lovato chimed in to offer her support to Cyrus. "I love you," Lovato told the former "Hannah Montana" star in a tweet. "Whoever called you that has it coming."

It is of course disheartening to hear that celebrities who put on a few pounds are being teased and harassed. But Lovato brings up an interesting question: Just who, exactly, commented on Cyrus's weight? Given the headlines this has generated (including a television segment on ABC News), you might assume it was a pop star rival, or a celebrity news reporter, or at least some famous blogger on an entertainment Web site.

Nope. It was an anonymous nobody, someone who goes by the Youtube handle of “kellybestinitup,” who no one has ever heard of, and whose opinions no one cares about.

This has happened before; in 2009 ABC News writer Sheila Marikar noted,

It’s been a bad week for high-waist jeans, leopard print belts and one Jessica Simpson. After Simpson performed at a Florida country radio station’s chili cook-off Sunday clad in the aforementioned outfit and coming off a bit more curvy than usual, critics pulled out their claws to slam the once svelte singer-actress for her new, larger figure.... Women in Hollywood are also stepping up to the star’s defense. "It’s just ridiculous—another woman being body-bashed for the quote-unquote infraction of looking normal," plus-size supermodel Emme told ABCNews.com.

And just who were these critics body-bashing the “courageous” Jessica Simpson? One or two anonymous bloggers on a gossip web site.

NEWS: Most Women Would Not Trade Anything To Be Thin

There's little doubt that fat bias exists, and of course it's unkind to make fun of anyone for their physical appearance. But in their rush to express their indignant outrage over comments about their weight, these celebrities and their defenders miss an important point: The insulting, attention-seeking bloggers who criticize celebs for a few extra pounds do not represent a national fat-hating media bias, nor the American public’s opinion. No one took a poll of Americans and found that most think that Cyrus or Simpson needs to lose weight.

NEWS: Thin Wives Make For Happy Marriages?

The fact is that outside of the paparazzi-infested Hollywood bubble (the so-called “thirty-mile zone” from which the gossip TV show TMZ gets its name), most of us don't care. Americans are busy worrying about our own lives and couldn't care less if Miley Cyrus put on a few pounds or if Jessica Simpson looks good in a bikini. These nameless critics don't reflect anyone’s opinions but their own, and by taking the bait and responding the stars just give their critics the attention they want.

It's not as if these “fat shaming” critics have any credibility or stature, or have opinions anyone listens to or cares about. The anonymity of the Internet is famous for helping generate mean-spirited discussions and name-calling, so no one should be surprised that out of the tens of thousands of bloggers who write about entertainment, pop culture, and celebrities, a few of them will try to generate Web traffic by saying something insulting.

Why in the world would an international superstar like Miley Cyrus even notice (much less care about or respond to) some random nasty comment or video posted by “kellybestinitup” that would have been completely ignored if she hadn’t responded to it?

Publicity. By responding to insulting comments like these, celebrities generate benign controversy and sympathetic news headlines while scoring points for standing up against the Hollywood thin ideal. It’s all showbiz.

Miley Cyrus Used 'Fat' Comment for Publicity?

This past week Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato responded to a comment about Miley's weight. Cyrus and Lovato took to Twitter to fight back at a comment that someone made about Miley getting a little "chubby." Did Miley do this to keep herself in the news?

Featureflash / Shutterstock.comActually, in the grand scheme of things no one really cares if Miley Cyrus or Demi Lovato is skinny, fat, or anything in between. The thing is that Miley became riled-up by an anonymous blogger and turned the entire fiasco into a publicity stunt.

This is the classic "if I'm not in the news, I will create a little sympathetic news about myself" thus rallying all the star's fans around a cause. This seems to be the case for Miley, Demi and the entire 'extra five pounds' debate.

True the cause is sympathetic. There is no denying that there is too much emphasis placed on the looks of the Hollywood elite. Add to this current technology that seemingly airbrushes every photo to the point of no one knows what is real and what is digitally enhanced these days.

Speaking of digitally enhanced....it was a video by a complete nobody on YouTube that started this rant. Nearly 18,000 views later, this person called kellybestinitup has gotten attention for her Photoshop job on Miley Cyrus and Miley has gotten a reason to go on a Twitter crusade.

The news media took Miley and Demi Lovato's tweets and turned them into front-page news. The funny thing is, if Miley had just ignored it, this kellybestinitup person would have had 200 views on her stupid video and no one would have cared. Instead, Cyrus used some anonymous YouTube poster as a reason to put herself back in the spotlight. Goodness, this has to be better publicity than a wardrobe malfunction or a "nip-slip," right?

Earlier this month, one Disney diva showered compliments on another. Miley Cyrus took to her Twitter account to speak out about notions of body image and to celebrate the curves of fellow teen queen Demi Lovato.

First, Cyrus tweeted a photo of a super skinny woman with her ribs popping out, and encouraged girls to love themselves. She wrote: “By calling girls like me fat this is what you’re doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same http://t.co/djouYjU8.”

She then posted a photo of the curvy icon Marilyn Monroe, who has long been considered a standard of beauty. Cyrus tweeted: “PROOF that you can be adored by thousands of men, even when your thighs touch.” You go, girl! We could not have said it better ourselves.

Miley was on fire about body consciousness, right? This prompted an “Amen” reply from the lovely Lovato, who has battled more than her fair share of weight comments over the past few months.

Miley Cyrus has received a lot of love from Guinness World Records. Now it has announced that she will be in the 2012 edition of the book! She has been a fixture in the series of books for the past 4 years now. She will be included in the 2012 edition for 4 entries, which are the following.

The teenager with most songs in the U.S. charts.
The most popular teenager on twitter.
The teenager with fastest #1 albums.
The highest-paid teenager today.

Miley has a lot to be proud about. However, I will say that a lot of stars have also has similar records. Like Justin Bieber, however, he will be included in next year’s book as well. While I will say that she has earned her spot, I do think that others are sometimes over looked before her. However, that is not her fault. I do wonder how she feels about these honors since most are about her music?

Miley Cyrus has just about had it up to her reportedly chubby cheeks with snide remarks, erroneous speculation, and gratuitous gossip about her recent weight gain. For the past week, various celebrity websites have labeled the So Undercover star as everything from pregnant to just plain fat. On November 14, Miley returned to Twitter to protest, and she made her displeasure felt in a unique way. She tweeted a shocking nude photo and with it, the following message.

"By calling girls like me fat this is what you're doing to other people. i love MYSELF & if you could say the same you wouldn't be sitting on your computer trying to hurt others."

Yikes. Miley Cyrus sounds really mad. And the photo she posted with her tweet showed just how angry she was. The photo, which you can see by clicking here, wasn't a naked picture of Miley. It was a shocking shot of an anorexic model sitting on her bony bottom clad in a pair of tiny bikini panties.

She's hiding her face on her arms which are clasped around her bony knees. All of her protruding ribs are clearly visible, as are her hip bones and shoulder blades. It's a stark and shocking image. And it's sure to hammer home to the media the fact that they've offended Miley Cyrus deeply--even if it doesn't get the crux of Miley Cyrus' message across.

Of course, the question is: will the disturbing photo of the moribund anorexic model have any effect on our society's thin-is-in obsession for females. Probably not. Alas, a good indication is the fact that one allegedly offending celebrity website posted a close-up pic of Miley Cyrus' rather porcine countenance right alongside the scary skinny model. Its caption wondered if La Cyrus' "hell of a bloated face [resulted] from too much food, too much booze, or, you know, too much sex - which could result in PREGNANCY." Ouch.

Looks like this smack down is just beginning.

The 18-year-old singer was incensed that there were rumblings online that she had put on some pounds and reports in the media that she was now overweight.

Fans of the performer took to her Twitter account yesterday calling Miley a "role model" and an "inspiration" leading the teen star to hit back at the negative press she has been receiving recently.

"By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people," Miley said and posted a graphic image of an emaciated woman suffering from an eating disorder before adding, "I love MYSELF."

Lost in this week's pop culture pandemonium over Brad Pitt contemplating retirement, George Clooney contemplating suicide and the Kardashians doing ... whatever they did to damage civilization and irritate humanity, a small news item caught my eye.

"Miley Cyrus upset by fat comments; says she loves being shaped like a woman."

My first thought was, "When did Miley Cyrus become a woman?"

Intrigued by the prospect of having missed this cultural benchmark, I continued reading and discovered that our country's newest woman is upset over speculation about her apparent weight gain which, as everyone knows, happens the day a girl turns 18 and her hips and bust expand like she's a Transformer.

Instead of responding with a bunch of comments about hating haters who are hatefully hating and whatnot, Miley Cyrus did something completely sensible, mature and kind of intelligent.

I'm not sure what planet this is. Cyrus posted a picture of an emaciated model, and wrote "By calling girls like me fat, this is what you're doing to other people."

Actually, we should blame that on the fashion industry. But her point was well made.

Then she posted a picture of Marilyn Monroe, captioned with "Proof that you can be adored by thousands of men, when your thighs touch."

True enough, though it was a lot more than thousands of men.

In retrospect, being adored by thousands of men probably shouldn't be the goal of any woman not in the pin-up/Maxim model/stripper industry.

I have four girls, none of whom I encourage to be adored by thousands of men, unless those men work for them or are voting for them in a presidential primary. "Respect" would be a better word. Perhaps, in the case of my girls, "feared" would be even better.

But -- ignoring the fact that Cyrus went on to threaten to "destroy" anyone calling her friend Demi Lovato fat (the singer and actress went to rehab for, among other things, an eating disorder last year) -- I get where the girl, er ... woman, is coming from. Everyone wants to be physically attractive.

It's the definition of "attractive" that's changing. Only the fashion industry -- with its hold on the hearts and minds of so many females -- hasn't gotten that through its collective, well-coiffed head.

Rotten role models

Despite years of criticism from medical professionals and otherwise incredibly sensible people like Miley Cyrus and me, the fashion industry still exhibits its wares mostly on the frames of women who weigh as much as my left leg, telling us "this is what women should aspire to look like."

I'm not sure why, because expressionless women who get carried away by a moderate breeze aren't that physically attractive.

And it's not just me. Or hasn't anyone else figured out that it isn't intelligence, sunny personality or a rapier wit that keep men paying attention to Kim Kardashian?

Healthy women who are physically and mentally strong are the new black.

Which is why, over the past decade, Hollywood has made so many films featuring female heroes who can roundhouse kick a man through a tree trunk.

Men go to those movies because we like that in a woman.

Once I discovered my wife had the skill to put an arrow through my cranium at 75 yards, I was hooked.

The fashion industry is woefully behind on what constitutes "attractive" in the 21st century.

No longer do men want someone who looks like she's been spending too much time giving blood. At least Miley says so. And, odd as it feels, I couldn't agree more.

Miley Cyrus dissed by Taylor Swift?

Miley Cyrus was indirectly dissed by Taylor Swift in a new interview with 60 Minutes. Evidently the country star took a dig at the teen queen, countering something she said with a comeback that was apparently a dig.

"I definitely think abouFile:Taylor Swift.jpgt a million people when I'm getting dressed in the morning and that's just part of my life now. I think it's my responsibility to know it and to be conscious of it," said Swift. According to Hollywood Life, Miley Cyrus made a comment about not being a role model and not dressing with her fans in mind.

While Taylor may not have meant to diss Miley directly, it certainly sounds like she's taking a different approach when it comes to her image. A lot of teen performers push the boundaries when it comes to their clothing, tattoos, and hair-dos (to name a few aspects) and it could be considered a form of rebellion.

Taylor Swift, however, is taking her position as a "role model" seriously. She is mindful of what she does whether she is on or off the stage... and that's her prerogative.

Bob Dylan To Receive The Miley Cyrus Treatment

Bob Dylan will be covered by Miley Cyrus on an upcoming tribute album set for release early next year. The project will serve as a fundraiser for Amnesty International and is titled Chimes Of Freedom: Songs Of Bob Dylan Honoring 50 Years of Amnesty International.

Thus far there has been no official word on what track Miley will cover for the album. She joins a diverse mix of pop and rock hitmakers for the project including Adele, who will cover "Make You Feel My Love," as well as Sting, the Dave Matthews Band, Patti Smith and My Morning Jacket.

Cyrus is not, however, the only mainstream pop act enlisted for the project. Ke$ha also recently confirmed she'll offer up a rendition of the track "Don't Think Twice, It's Alright" noting:

"When you think of me, you wouldn't think of Bob Dylan. My music is more about the going crazy than politics. But he's a huge influence - he writes his own music and means what he says. I write my own music and I mean every word I sing."

Pint-Sized Miley Cyrus Hacker Seeks Jail Pass

Citing his diminutive physical stature among other mitigating factors, the Tennessee man who hacked Miley Cyrus’s e-mail account has asked a federal judge to spare him prison time when he appears Monday for sentencing on felony spamming and computer fraud charges.

In an October 26 pre-sentencing memorandum, the lawyer for Josh Holly, 22, argued that a probation term would be “sufficiently onerous punishment for a first-time offender of immature mental age.” Even a brief jail term, attorney Sumter Camp contended, “would hinder rather than aid Josh’s rehabilitation.”

Camp also noted that Holly deserved credit for meeting earlier this year with an FBI agent to provide “information about others that he was aware were involved in illegal computer-related activities.”

Holly, pictured in the above mug shot, pleaded guilty in August to possessing about 200 stolen credit card numbers and to sending spam mailings via MySpace. He has not been charged in connection with the late-2007 Cyrus hack, for which he took credit in online postings, as well as in an October 2008 FBI interview. Holly distributed online racy images of the underage Cyrus that he found in her Gmail account.

Responding today to Camp’s memo, a federal prosecutor wrote that he would not challenge factors raised about Holly’s “youth, mental and emotional issues and physical stature.” Though government lawyer Hilliard Hester did note that he was the same height as the 5’ 6” Holly, who was “not so remarkably short” that a downward sentencing is warranted.

As for Holly’s “suggested sentence of probation with home detention,” Hester countered that such a penalty would not be sufficient, stating that “further negative reinforcement is needed to deter future criminal conduct.” The prosecutor also noted that Holly recently violated terms of his release by accessing the Internet and posting messages on Facebook and Google+.

In a July 4 Facebook post, Holly wrote, "I’m having these strong urges to start playing around and hacking shit again, there’s so much new stuff on the net. I can’t stop these urges. Am I a bad person?” Holly's unauthorized online activity was described in a U.S. District Court filing made by a Pretrial Services Officer.

While the respective court submissions do not detail the specific sentencing guideline range Holly faces, it appears that his possible prison exposure is limited. In fact, Hester wrote that if Judge Aleta Trauger opted for a probationary sentence, the Department of Justice recommended that Holly “serve three (3) consecutive days in actual custody” to be followed by 90 days in a halfway house.

First off, if you’re shopping at Bergdof Goodman, chances are you don’t have many problems. Second, if your legs are too short to touch the floor, ostensibly your arms are too short to photograph the rest of you from this angle — so who, pray tell, took this picture? Third, you’re in a public however high end restroom and you design killer stilletos. Where in the name of all that are your shoes?
Fourth — and this is just a reminder to everyone – big, tall, short or small, girls don’t poop. Just throwing that out there.

Height has nothing to do with this. Aside from being barefoot in a public bathroom (gross!), Simpson’s biggest problem is that she’s short on discretion.

A man who claims to have hacked the emails and cell phones of numerous celebrities -- including those who were hacked by the Hackerazzi who now faces criminal charges -- has given TMZ a road map on how he did the dirty deed.

A man who has been contacting TMZ for nearly two years -- trying to peddle multiple celeb images, including nude pics of Scarlett Johansson -- has revealed how he hacked Miley Cyrus' Gmail account.

The man says he simply went to Miley's Gmail and tried accessing it. The prompt asked a security question ... the name of one of her girlfriends. He guessed the one she's known the longest, based on a Google search -- and he scored.

The Cyrus family is getting a little larger as Miley Cyrus gets ready for a sister-in-law to be added to the family tree since her brother, Trace, recently revealed his engagement to Brenda Song.

Trace and Brenda have been the subject of various rumors for a while now, but Miley’s brother finally put one of those rumors to rest when he tweeted on Friday, “I am very excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!”

Miley Cyrus Makes a Difference in Haiti

The singer recently returned from a trip to Haiti with the Starkey Hearing Foundation, where she helped that organization hand out hundreds of hearing aids to those still devastated by last year's earthquake.

The 30-year-old singer turned fashion mogul is said to be undecided as to what kind of big day she wants to have with fiance Eric Johnson.

Does this girl in any way resemble Miley Cyrus? The Hannah Montana star may have a doppelgänger out there, but there are some very noticeable differences between the two stunners.

One website, Hollywoodtuna.com, is claiming British reality show star and model Amy Childs could be a bustier version of the Disney princess. Of course, there are many look-a-like actresses, including The Playboy Club star Amber Heard and Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley, and Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel.

The two young women do somewhat resemble each other facially, and they're both brunettes, but that's where the similarities end.

Childs is far curvier, with her surgically enhanced chest, is three years older, and clearly loves spray-on tanning. In addition, it's safe to say Cyrus' bank account is likely a little heftier than her British twin's. And, Cyrus prefers guys a little older, such as her current boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth, while Childs says she's into younger men.

2011 county fair ‘par for the course’

Gate sales were down, but sponsorship was up at last week’s 2011 Benton County Fair, according to fairgrounds manager Lonny Wunder.

Wunder didn’t provide a final gate sales tally, saying the low figure was “skewed,” perhaps due to the number of free passes that were handed out to sponsors. The fair saw a 30 percent increase in sponsors from last year.

Sponsors receive anywhere from six to 20 free passes, depending on their contribution to the fair. Some sponsors donate cash; others donated items.

When asked how attendance compared to last year — all things considered — Wunder said only “It is tough to tell.” Parking sales, online ticket sales and preticket sales numbers have yet to be finalized. Wunder expects the numbers to come in sometime next week. Wunder did know that Aug. 6, the closing day of the fair’s four-day run, drew the largest crowd, second to Friday, which is customary.As for the new carnival, which was provided by Funtastic Shows — a Portland-based company in its first year of a three-year partnership with the Benton County Fair — reviews were good.

“They run a really clean carnival, and I appreciated not having electrical cords running across the street,” said Wunder, also noting he liked that cashless barcode system the carnival used.

Wunder said people complained there weren’t enough rides, but that was because the K-9 Frisbee Competition took over part of the lawn that previously was used for rides.

“They (Funtastic Shows) had plenty of rides,” Wunder said. “It was just about not having enough space.”

Wunder said the decision to bring in the Lane County 4-H kids — which raised the number of 4-H animals at the fair from 450 to 600 — “turned out great.”

“Auction prices were up, and buyers really came out to support their kids,” Wunder said.

Hannah Montana star Emily Osment drew a large amount of the youth in the community Wednesday night, while singer Aaron Tippin, who performed Thursday, drew a “fairly light” crowd, given his popularity, Wunder said.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds drew a good crowd Friday night, and Johnny Limbo and the Lugnuts “packed the house — “like always” — on Saturday night.

MA: With summer being here your celebrity fitness app must be a great tool…

Absolutely, if they are looking to get in shape the app is going help them out. That’s for sure.

MA: It has a journal and nutrition advice from you, correct?

Yes, the journal is actually really good. It will help you to keep your goals; you can log in your weight loss and keep it right on the app.

MA: The average person says, stars can get in such great shape because that’s their job compared to the average person. Are people making excuses?

That is definitely an excuse. Celebrities don’t have it any easier when it comes to picking up the weights as the everyday person does. They still have to pick up the weights to get the job done. Being that they are a celebrity, it may allow them a little more free time to work out or get ready for a project. It may give them a little bit more motivation because they are getting paid to perform that job, but, in the fitness world, if you want to get into shape, you have to do the work. The celebrities…they have to work at it.

MA: Life after boxing…do you watch any MMA?

I do watch a lot of the UFC. One of my assistant trainers is actually an MMA fighter himself. We get together and we watch all of them.

MA: Any favorite fighter?

Yeah, I am a Matt Hughes fan and obviously Georges St. Pierre. Chuck Liddell, Couture, the Gracies who started here, the Shamrocks. Those are all guys I look up to. They spent years and years to get it on the map. Now they are at the end of their careers, it’s a shame it took that long to get this big. And now they can’t compete in the sport that much anymore. .. I am big fan of them and friendly with a lot of them.

MA: You have said in the past the Manny Pacquiao is the best fighter of our generation. In a fictional fight between Amir Khan and Manny, who do you think would take it?

I would have to give it to Manny Pacquiao. I honestly think Manny Pacquiao is the best pound for pound fighter that we have now in the last couple of years. I even think he is the best fighter even better than Mayweather. I think Mayweather not fighting Manny is a shame. I think it will be even if they do fight in the future but it lost a little bit of its luster with how long it has taken for them to fight. When you are a champion or a great fighter you want to fight the best. You want to go away knowing that you fought everybody that there was there to fight. Manny Pacquiao has been willing several times now. Not only is he an outstanding person and a gentleman and fun to be around but he is a hell of a fighter, He has a really big heart and I think against Khan I still will give it to Pacquiao. Khan might be a little bit bigger and may be a little bit stronger but I will give the experience and the knowledge and speed to Manny.

MA: Is everyone trainable to get in shape or are there certain exceptions?

Well, I think everybody is capable of being “trained” and help better their situation. I think there are certain cases where people have limited fitness ability: they may have injuries; they may have certain things that may stop them from doing certain exercises. But, you can always better yourself no matter the situation.

I have a client who is quadriplegic. She is in her wheelchair and she has minimal use of any of her limbs and I work her out. She works out 3 days a week; moving her head back and forth, side to side, front and back to strengthen her neck. Moving her arms back and forth to get her heart rate up to keep her heart in condition, just like a make shift shady boxing exercise. I hold it above her heart where she is hitting it like a speed bag and that helps her heart to be conditioned. So, if you are a quadriplegic with limited use of any limbs and are willing to work out 3 days a week there is no excuse for anybody.

MA: That is very inspiring.

She is the first one to tell you how much she enjoys working out. I could get some quotes from her. I could hook you two guys up. But, three days a week and she loves it.

MA: Soccer fan as well. Any favorite teams?

Manchester United fan and obviously I am a Galaxy fan. Coming from an Italian family and growing up in New Jersey, soccer was actually a pretty big sport back in the day. I grew up in the era of the Cosmos.

Jessica Simpson may be known for her curves, but this time, they’re not working in her favour. Just days after Nick Lachey's wedding to Vanessa Minnillo, the busty blonde has managed to steal the spotlight from her ex-husband.

Simpson was photographed heading into a business meeting last Friday in Beverly Hills wearing a form-fitting bronze dress and sporting a possible baby bump (or perhaps just a cheeseburger she ate for lunch.)

Skincare products are formulated with fruit extracts and essential oils to address concerns like aging, loss of hydration, and uneven tone and texture, while the haircare is designed to nourish, style and protect fine, dry and chemically treated hair. A full cosmetics range for face, eyes and lips as well as bodycare products are also part of the launch. Prices range between $2.99 and $19.99.

"I wanted to create a line of premium beauty products that were both effective and affordable using the ingredients and knowledge passed down to me from my grandmother," said Hayek. "My partnership with CVS/pharmacy allowed me to be truly involved in every aspect of product development, bringing my vision to life in making a line that is available to all women..."Hayek has made a point of wanting to create an affordable range in past interviews, so it doesn't come as a surprise that her distribution partner is CVS, not one of the luxury brands owned by her husband, PPR CEO François-Henri Pinault. Salma Hayek’s Nuance Facial Serum

Salma Hayek’s much anticipated skincare line, Nuance, has finally been launched and, naturally, I immediately bought the nothing if not affordable Renewing and Brightening Facial Serum ($19.99 for 1oz at CVS) and tried it out for the first time over the weekend.

The 44-year old actress says that the line is inspired by her grandmother and the Facial Serum makes a big feature out of licorice. Before Salma Hayek’s line was launched there was a flurry of speculation that the star of the show would be something called concha nacar (mother of pearl) and that the actress would be using it to make a “lightening cream”. But now that the Nuance serum has debuted, it doesn’t even have a bit part.

In fact, the lightening role looks to be the job of a stable form of kojic acid (the third ingredient listed – aminopropyl kojyl phosphate). Now kojic acid, typically used as a skin whitener, is somewhat controversial and is certainly a strong irritant or sensitizer. In 2008, the European Union concluded that “data support the conclusion, that skin penetration in rats and humans is considerable” and that “the use of kojic acid at a maximum concentration of 1.0% in skin care formulations poses a risk to the health of the consumer.”So at less than 1%, kojic acid may be relatively safe. However, the industry body, CIR says that at less than 1%, while safe, skin lightening wouldn’t be seen. I don’t know what the concentration is in Nuance, but I would assume that it is 1% or less. That’s good, but then am I to have low expectations for this product to work?

Despite my misgivings about kojic acid, I’m giving Nuance a try out on my neck. My skin seems a bit reaction-prone right now, so I am taking a cautious approach in case this serum irritates me.

Although the most dominant ingredient after water is unimpressively a thickening agent, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, I found the consistency of the Nuance Facial Serum to be a little on the thin side. Nor does it absorb very well, which tends to make the metal roller with which it is applied a bit redundant since I resorted to rubbing it in with my fingers.

There are a good number of decent botanicals in Nuance. I especially like omega 7 rich macadamia and mimosa (albizzia julibrissin) seems to have exciting possibilities as a free radical scavenger that is more potent than L-ascorbic acid. Probably the most impressive track record is held by cactus pear (opuntia), a cancer fighter that deploys an array of different antioxidants. Nuance also contains blue agave extract, but I’ve never been able to find much justification for its role in skincare. Licorice is supposed to play a key role in Nuance’s serum and it is certainly an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, although less convincing as a skin lightener.

Another interesting inclusion is hexanoyl dipeptide-3 (which is lecithin and norleucine acetate) activates skin cell regeneration by stimulating the natural desquamation process of the skin, leading to a gentle peeling.

There are, of course, the usual suspects in the preservative department (sodium hydroxide and phenoxyethanol) and undisclosed fragrance. The above mentioned thickener emollient (pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate) has way too big a role. But that may be how the price of Nuance Facial Serum is kept at such a keen level. And for something that is under twenty bucks, I think the formulation is, on the face of it, pretty good. Now I just hope that my skin can cope with the kojic acid. I’ll report back in a while.

“Tonight, I want to tell you guys my story,” Beyoncé divulged to a sold-out crowd at New York’s Roseland Ballroom last night. The 90-minute, guest-free show, the first of four this week, found the 29-year-old diva splitting the difference between hushed torch singer and stadium belter, running through a 30-minute revue of her greatest hits before performing virtually all of 4, her latest album released earlier this year.

For a singer long accustomed to stadiums, Sunday’s show was the most intimate performance most fans would see from the ubiquitous superstar. Backed by a 20-piece, all-female orchestra, including a conducted string sextet, three-piece horn section, three backup singers, and a harpist, the singer devoted the first third of the show to a “VH1 Storytellers”-type greatest hits showcase-cum-history lesson.If you didn’t know Beyoncé’s biography before—auditions with Destiny’s Child starting at age nine, her father’s early and frequent involvement managing his daughter’s career, getting dropped by Elektra, etc.—she laid bare her entire musical history starting with a Michael Jackson obsession at age five. Opening with Jackson’s “I Wanna Be Where You Are,” the singer interspersed minute-long snippets of her greatest hits both solo and with Destiny’s Child, stopping each track to discuss her life and mindset during each stage of her career.

After recalling her father’s interrupting of an audition for numerous labels because “they’re not ready yet,” B talked about entering the studio by herself at 18, hearing Stevie Nicks’ guitar riff for “Edge of Seventeen” that would inspire “Bootylicious,” and how the last years of Destiny’s Child were a “reality show like ‘Survivor.’” “It was trying to figure out which member would be the last one on the island,” explained the singer.

The medley combined the quick blasts of a Las Vegas revue with the emotional candor of a singer-songwriter performing to a near-empty room. It was an odd, yet effective juxtaposition; a global superstar who could effortlessly shuffle between slick, bombastic R&B and awkwardly honest confessions of a tumultuous career. By the end of the set though, humility, as one expects from a singer with 16 Grammy awards and more than 75 million records sold worldwide, turned to sly confidence. “[The label] told me I didn’t have one hit song on my album,” she said of her 2003 debut Dangerously in Love. “I guess they were kinda right. I had five.” With the exception of a slowed-down, jazzier version of “Crazy in Love,” the orchestra augmented rather than transformed the tracks, as if deviating too much from the recorded versions would violate the victory lap feel of the show.

“1+1,” the opening song on 4, found Beyoncé kneeling atop a piano, her coy, torch singer poses bumping up against wind machines, and spotlights beaming from above the singer’s head. The contradiction was emblematic of the set, as the deservedly entitled diva shared space with her populist alter-ego. For every fog machine, there was a 3,000-person sing-along; for every extravagant light number, there was a heartfelt emotional moment. Tonight was Beyoncé being all things to all people without pandering or condescension.

Performing the album virtually front to back (“Start Over” was curiously left off Sunday’s setlist), the singer displayed both the stamina and vigor that makes for stadium-perfect shows. “End of Time” and “Run the World (Girls)” utilized flamboyant light displays to bring elaborate routines to a smaller stage, though most of the time, Beyoncé viewed the reduced space as advantageous over limiting. B ended the last song—the self-empowering ballad “I Was Here”—with “Roseland, we were here.” In less confident hands, the line would’ve come off as hokey. For Beyoncé, it was the recognition of a singular event before returning to the stadium.

Jay-Z has topped a Forbes magazine hip hop rich list, making $37 million (£22m) in the past 12 months. The rap star claimed his fourth top spot in the last five years.

Diddy finished in second place earning $35m (£21m) with Kanye West, who has collaborated with Jay-Z this year on a joint album called Watch The Throne, making $16m (£10m).

Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Eminem tied for the sixth spot at $14 million (£9m) with Nicki Minaj debuting at 15.

Forbes says top earner Jay-Z made his cash from the end of his world Blueprint 3 tour and other business interests.The top 20 on the hip hop list earned a combined $271 million (£166m).

Thirteen different artists earned $10 million (£6m) or more, taking home money from live shows, recorded music, endorsements and a other businesses.

Earnings were calculated between May 2010 to May 2011 and based on data from Pollstar, Nielsen SoundScan, the Recording Industry Association of America and individual record labels.

Beyonce to Perform Entire Album ’4′ at Special Shows

Beyoncé has announced a four-night stint at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom in which she’ll perform her latest album, “4,” in its entirety at each show. News of the concert series entitled “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” was announced on her website this weekend.

An increasing number of artists are dedicating entire concerts to one album as a way of boosting interest in live performances and emphasizing the unity of their album releases in an age of downloadable singles. Last November, Kanye West performed his entire album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City. The traveling hip-hop festival Rock The Bells, which kicks off on August 20 in Los Angeles, is headlined by a number of artists performing every song from standout albums, including Lauryn Hill performing her 1998 opus, “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” Nas performing his 1994 debut album, “Illmatic,” and Erykah Badu performing her 1997 debut, “Baduizm.” Typically, the practice of performing an album in full has been reserved for releases generally regarded as classics. (For more on this go to Ethan Smith’s story “Up Next: Your Favorite Album.”)The “4 Intimate Nights With Beyoncé” concert series is only taking place in New York City, and the shows will be held on August 14, 16, 18, and 19. Guest appearances weren’t announced but “4” itself is light on them–the only celebrity cameos come from rapper Andre 3000 on the track “Party,” and various ad-libs from Kanye West who produced the record. But given Beyoncé’s many famous friends and associates (she’s married to rapper Jay-Z), it wouldn’t be a surprise for her to pull out a few surprises.

Beyoncé Pops Up at ‘Watch the Throne’ Store

The king was joined by his queen at the opening of the Watch the Throne pop-up store on Friday night. Beyoncé made a royal entrance while visiting Jay-Z and Kanye West’s brand new spot at Openhouse Gallery in SoHo (201 Mulberry St.).

Fans camped outside for a glimpse of the pop superstar, who waited for security to clear the area before exiting her vehicle. Cameras flashed and gasps were heard (“Oh my God!” screamed one fan) as B made her way into the store, where she held court with her hubby, Swizz Beatz, Just Blaze, and more.

Emily Osment Goes Beyond Hannah Montana With A Pop Star Twist

There is nothing like free concerts - the avid music fan can soak up the great unfiltered stage performance and get quite attached to a rising star all in the matter of mere moments. On a yearly tradition the river stage at Penn’s landing hosts a wide variety of rising talent especially during the week of welcome America celebrations for our nation’s birthday. Penn’s’ landing is a supreme place to see an open air concert event and to date holds the annual fast rising star talent roster of lesser known Artists that spin off into the limelight and earn more then just a fan base with a blink of an eye.This year that tradition still continues as the River Stage at Penn’s landing in down town Philadelphia hosted a free concert with Disney Channels Emily Osment. This fast rising pop star is well known for her role as “Lilly Trescott “on the series Hannah Montana. Emily’s musical influences, which range from Led Zeppelin to The Beatles, shows she’s following the footsteps as a classic rocker with a pop star twist. She has already released her second CD on Windup Records. It is already gaining momentum as she is performing material off of it along with selected tracks from her debut release.

Opening the show at the River Stage, fans were treated to the dance moves of the Philadelphia Soul girls working the stage to some real rock gems as fan piled in to catch Emily Osment rock out later on. We were also treated to a very special performance from this ten piece A Cappella sensation known as Straight No Chaser. It pretty impressive to have ten different voices all combined on one stage and just send you into musical heaven. These guys truly demonstrate the gift of music through their set with various cover songs with a splash of coolness. Definitely a breath of fresh air watching these guys works their magic under a hot stage.

After that segment of a performance you wonder who can top that. Not easily done but fans were also treated to a nice set done by American Idol heart throb Tim Urban with his acoustic guitar as he performed many great solo songs captivating his TV debut in 2010.

A quick set change, and it’s time for the Grande performance of Emily Osment as she performed in front of a few thousand fans in the hot heat at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia Pa. She does have a great voice, her backing band sounds great, although the sun glasses prop really doesn’t suite the performance as through out the show she kept them on hiding her sparkling blues. For the forty minute set, Emily unveiled some new songs from her recent released CD Fight or Flight that included the mega hit “Love Sick “along with Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”. Emily Osment has a promising musical career as she recently performed some great catchy songs that are nothing short of greatness.

For a quick three plus hour free event, it was great to see some raw talent come alive over looking the river at Penn’s landing on a sunny afternoon with a scorching sun drenching the skyline of a landmark venue.

ABC Family will premiere its original movie CYBERBULLY tonight, July 17th, at 8pm. Stars Emily Osment and Kay Panabaker recently took some time to talk about the movie.

What’s ‘Cyberbully’ and are you two the victims or the perpetrators?

Emily Osment: ‘Cyberbully’ focuses on a girl, my character Taylor Hillridge and her battle with bullying and cyberbullying. It follows her into the home because it’s online. It follows her to school, and her best friend, Kay [Panabaker], plays Samantha, tries to help her, but doesn’t really know how. It’s basically her story, her insecurity and the way that she handles it and the wrong way that she handles it.
So this is a cautionary tale?

Emily Osment: It is. It’s not based on a true story, but it very easily could be because it’s extremely relatable and with all the press that’s going on about cyberbullying right now and Michelle Obama’s campaign and the campaign we’re doing with Seventeen Magazine and everything. They’re making it a big deal which is great for us and it’s also good for the cause because it’s a huge problem, and the more that we bring attention to it the better it’ll hopefully get.How did you get involved with this movie?

Kay Panabaker: I was going through a transition period and they’d asked me to audition, and I said, ‘I’m out of town,’ and I couldn’t do it. Then they cast someone else and then at the last minute she couldn’t travel because of an illness. They called me last minute and I said, ‘Okay, I’ll do it.’ So at five thirty on a Tuesday they said that I was going to have to fly at 11AM the next morning. I got thrown into it, but I was thrilled to be a part of it because I knew that Emily [Osment] was doing it when I signed on, and I’ve known her for many years. I liked it because the role was supporting her. She has such a dramatic and drastic character growth in this.

I really wanted to help showcase that. I think the movie, it focuses on her journey, but there’s the journey of her best friends and the bullies and her mom and how they all cope. Also, how this whole subject matter affects all of them.

How tragic does it get?

Emily Osment: We play it very realistic. Everything in the movie, it’s extremely dramatic and it’s extremely…it’s hard to say. It’s heartbreaking, but it’s very realistic, and everything that happens in the movie you believe. You completely believe these characters, and that’s why she says that it’s such a character growth. It’s just an exponential difference where she starts and where she finishes, my character.

Kay Panabaker: It’s such an emotional journey.

Emily Osment: And what she goes through. The crew and the cast and everyone did such a good job, especially the director, of heightening visually what I even look like in the beginning of the movie and what I look like at the end of the movie and the way that my hair is styled and the things that I wear. We had the best DP in Canada. We had a wonderful crew that really wanted to be there.

How do you relate to your characters in real life?

Kay Panabaker: I think as public figures we now ask for the public’s involvement in our lives through Twitter, through MySpace, through whatever and I think that people take that upon themselves that now that they have a direct line to you they can give you career advice, they can give you character advice. There’s no longer that sense of boundary with public figures, and just online in general you have such instant access to a person. They don’t really know you and I feel like my mother’s always taught me that you should conduct yourself privately as you would publicly. So, if you wouldn’t say these things to the person’s face don’t say them online. If you can’t not do that then take yourself off line and figure out a better outlet for whatever you’re dealing with.

Emily Osment: It’s a little hard to say that I can truly relate to my character just because her experience is so traumatic and I’ve never really dealt with anything that’s that emotionally strenuous, but my mom is a teacher and I hear stories about bullying all the time. I sat down and talked to her for a few hours before I flew to Montreal just so I could try to get a full grasp of what she hears bubbling and what she sees in the kids, the toll that it takes on the kids. I wanted to get a full opinion of what it’s like to be bullied.

Have you guys ever been tempted to tell someone online that they’re a jerk, maybe in more colorful language?

Emily Osment: No, because it kind of feeds…we don’t go looking for things, but you do find it and you think, ‘Wow, you really don’t know me if that’s what you’re going to assume about me. You don’t know me.’ Therefore that doesn’t warrant a response because then they’re just going to continue. That’s why a bully is a bully. They’re looking for a response out of you and if they don’t get it they’re going to stop.

How do you make typing cinematic, since there is a lot of that here?

Emily Osment: That’s a very good question. It was very cool the way this film was shot because we did everything handheld, and like I said, we had this amazing DP and the most fantastic director and a crew that’d worked together forever. So, they wanted to make it look beautiful and it was hard because we had a few outside scenes, but mostly it was inside in a bedroom looking at a computer. How do you make that pretty? The way that we shot it, we shot mostly reactions so that you’re not focused on a computer screen the whole time. It was hard personally for me, character wise, to go from everything is good to sobbing, like, ‘Oh, my God, I’ve read something,’ and there were so many scenes where it was an instant click with an emotional change which a lot of teenagers have. I think that was probably the most difficult. I cried every single day on this movie, as Kay will tell you. Every single day was so emotional.

Kay Panabaker: And sometimes it was like she’d have one or two scenes and then there were other ones where she was crying the entire day. Then at the end of the day, as opposed to being depressed she got herself happy again.

What was it like working with Kelly Rowan?

Emily Osment: I love her. She got me on a healthy kick. I’m completely, a hundred percent raw vegan now which is very difficult. I have all my own snacks with me here today, that’s for sure, but she’s the sweetest person and she did a fantastic job of giving me excellent advice.

Kay Panabaker: The couple of scenes that I had with her she was like, ‘These were my experiences and this is what I’ve learned. Take it or leave it.’

Emily Osment: She’s very real and extremely down to earth and very funny, very sarcastic which is just like me. So we got along really well.

A photo of "role model" Miley Cyrus smoking a cigarette emerged recently, even though, in her 2009 autobiography, she vowed never to smoke. Has she lost her mind? She's a role model! Hide the children! She deserves to be put over Daddy's knee and spanked, for heaven's sake.

Uh, wait. She's 18 and supposedly old enough to make her own decisions, right? It's not as if she has led a sheltered life so far, is it? I will say that she must be okay with people snapping photos of her like that during her down time. I would doubt that she would wear that if that were not the case. I know she will get a backlash for smoking and that is a waste of her hard-earned money. But she is of legal age and I suppose she has the right to chose to smoke. I do wonder how her father feels about that?

What do you think about Miley’s summer body? Should she be okay with candid photos like that being taken? I know that I would not be okay with that, but I guess she is willing to pay the price for fame. I would love to see her in more brights, but I think she must like muted colors. I do wonder if she is happy, she never seems to smile or look excited like she used to. I would hate to see her fall into depression because of the fame she has. Miley Cyrus is taking a hike up to Studio City, where she’s bought a sprawling California contemporary home for $3.9 million that will allow her to host salvia parties in total privacy.

Miley, who bought the house last month, capitalized on California’s depressed real estate market.

The house originally listed for $4.58 million, and was later dropped to $4.425 million. It spent a year on the market until she nabbed it.

The five-bedroom, seven bathroom property is surrounded by a wall and sits atop a hill, an “astonishingly beautiful setting with lush canyon vistas,” according to the sales brochure.

The gated and walled compound, built in 1952, is located on a private promontory, surrounded by 1.15 acres of lawns and gardens, making it “the perfect celebrity hideaway.”

The house is 5,173 square feet just up the hill from Oil Can Harry's in the Studio City hills, and not far from her favorite Panera Bread along Ventura Boulevard where she is seen almost weekly.

The house was built in 1952 and expanded five years later, and was on the market originally in 2010 for $4.425 mil.

It is behind a walled and gated area, where there are 10 parking spaces and on 1.15 acres of property.

One thing we notice from photographs is the young star's many tattoos. Since Cyrus was 17 years of age, she began getting inked. Her father, Billy Ray, mother, and brother, Trace, all have tattoos as well. Body art seems to be a family tradition and form of expression. So with multiple incidents sans brassiere and with serious side cleavage, both on and off the red carpet, is the pop star endeavoring to let it all hang out and start a new fashion trend? Or are her exhibitionist tendencies really just for silliness and show (plus the requisite buzz)?

Maybe a bit of both. After all, Miley Cyrus has not been shy in acknowledging her preference to go bra-less, admitting "I am who I am! #braless" on Twitter not too long ago.

She's obviously not concerned about the lack of modesty affecting her status as a teen role model, given her previous indiscretions with scanty wardrobe selections and that infamous bong. Because just about the last celebrity we ever suspected would get all serious and political over Twitter is Miley Cyrus.Oh, sure, there’s plenty of cursory “thanks for going to the show!” and silly mentions of swag and such. And she does make much of listening to The Strokes and Cage the Elephant and similar bands, so maybe she’s just hanging out at a lot of liberal-arts colleges lately. Miley Cyrus Chows Down On Hot Dogs with Mom

Miley Cyrus has a craving for dogs…hot dogs that is. The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer was spotted chowing down on some wieners at a food truck in Culver City, California earlier this week.

Wearing a white tank top and casual skinny jeans, Miley rubbed her belly as she prepared to give her order to the food truck staff. The 18-year-old pop star clearly couldn’t wait to get her hands on her hot dog because she immediately started to scarf down her food as soon as it was handed to her. Even celebrities like to take it easy from time to time and play a little. Miley Cyrus, Nick and Joe Jonas, striking out at Pinz Bwling has earned them spots up for induction to the Bowling Hall of Fame, a list of honorary celebrities chosen by the Bowling Propieters Association of America(BPAA). Other notable celebrities list include Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, and Lady Gaga. You can make a difference in who gets officially inducted and vote for your favorites online. If you’re a fan of Miley and the Jonas brothers, be sure to vote for them this year. I think its pretty silly to have a Bowling Hall of Fame but I guess its one way they promote bowling and to get more people to play the game. Billy Ray Thought Miley Would Bring "Hope" To The World

Billy Ray has revealed why he originally called his daughter Destiny Hope, before she changed her name to Miley Cyrus.

In an interview with Piers Morgan this week, the country singer told the talk show host that he thought the Party In The U.S.A. singer would bring "hope" to people.

"This was Miley's dream. This was her - I believe to touch people's lives. Through her music and her life," he told Piers. "I still believe that.

"You know, her name was originally Destiny Hope, I had given her the name before she was born because I had a vision. I felt it was her destiny to bring hope to the world.

"When I see her selling out arenas around the world or on her TV show, making people laugh, bringing families into the living room together, we always, try to put positive messages in each episode if we could.

"And, you know, I do think that she - this is her purpose - her path."

The Runway Light singer added about the LOL actress: "Miley really, really has a good heart. And she loves people. She loves music. She loves entertaining.

"There's a lot of things that Miley does that I wouldn't go into right now on a humanitarian basis. But Miley is a great humanitarian. She really cares about her fellow man, and people, and the planet and animals."

No Charges In Miley Cyrus Hacking Case

JULY 14--The Tennessee man who has admitted hacking Miley Cyrus’s e-mail and MySpace accounts will not be charged for that illegal breach, though he is expected to plead guilty to federal charges related to other illegal online incursions.

Josh Holly, 21, is facing a pair of felony charges, according to a criminal information filed in U.S. District Court in Nashville. According to an affidavit filed by his lawyer, Holly and prosecutors “have agreed” to the charges.

Holly was originally charged in January with a single felony count of illegally possessing about 200 credit card numbers that had either been lost, stolen, or somehow fraudulently obtained. Last month, an additional count was filed against Holly, apparently as a result of debriefing sessions with FBI agents.

The new felony charge accuses Holly, pictured in the mug shot at right, of accessing “a protected computer without authorization” so that he could surreptitiously send out spam e-mails. Specifically, Holly infiltrated MySpace accounts to “intentionally initiate the transmission of multiple commercial electronic mail messages.”

During an October 2008 search of his Murfreesboro home, Holly told FBI Agent Victor Rodriguez that he "often used accounts belonging to celebrities” to send out spam due to “the high volume of Internet traffic they attracted." Bank records obtained by the FBI revealed the lucrative nature of Holly’s spam operation, which began in 2005. During one nine-month period, for example, he was paid more than $110,000 to send out unwanted mailings.

In addition to copping to spamming, Holly--who is known online as “Trainreq”--admitted hacking Cyrus’s Gmail and MySpace accounts and posting private images of the singer. However, despite that admission, federal prosecutors have opted not to pursue charges related to that hack.

Sumter Camp, Holly’s attorney, did not return TSG calls seeking comment about his client’s case.

Holly became an outcast in hacker circles after court records revealed that he had been debriefed by federal agents and, according to an FBI affidavit, "identified various persons who had aided and abetted his activities."

Since being charged, Holly, who once was a regular on forums like Digital Gangster, has maintained an extremely low profile. In fact, last week Camp filed a sealed motion for Holly to change his residence. The motion, which was approved by a federal magistrate judge, reportedly contained “confidential information” about Holly--presumably like his new home address.
